Concept: FloNolde

Concept: FloNolde
Probing music through radical **delicacy** – that is the core concept of “FloNolde.” Ballads and love songs, with their fragile and sentimental tone, are often dismissed as “soft” or weak, yet beneath that delicacy there are always the subtle movements of people’s hearts and the ways they choose to live. By resonating with those inner motions, such songs possess the potential to greatly deepen their own value.

The motif of “flowers” holds profound significance for this label. We tend to regard flowers as something beautiful and pretty, but from a scientific perspective they are in fact the raw, exposed reproductive organs of plants. And yet we humans, under the pretext of “beauty,” mercilessly pluck and cut them, do we not?

There is a certain rawness that lies beneath surface-level beauty. As long as we approach flowers and plants with the same vague sensibility we reserve for humans or animals, we become unable to perceive that rawness. Human beings share a common nature as “humans,” yet each person has their own individuality, with different ways of thinking and feeling. Their delicate, sentimental emotional movements are by no means something “weak.”

Every “FloNolde” track appears, at first glance, to be beautiful, delicate, and founded on seemingly soft themes. However, when these tracks come together as an “album” to form a single narrative, you may begin to discern a raw thematic undercurrent and the cruelty inherent in life itself.
